- Recurring todos. Mark any task as daily, weekdays, or weekends. It resets automatically each morning.
- Mood tracking. Log a daily mood alongside your note.
- Writing streaks. A year-view calendar shows every day you wrote.
- Instant full-text search across all past entries.
- Share as designed cards. Export any note as a styled image.

## Privacy model

dailynote is fully offline. There is no server, no sync, and no cloud.

- No account required. The app works immediately with no signup.
- Passphrase encryption. Your notes are encrypted on-device with a passphrase you set. The key is never transmitted or stored outside your device.
- No data collection. The app does not track usage, analytics, or behavior.
- Offline-first. The app works without an internet connection. Always.

This means: if you forget your passphrase, there is no recovery. The privacy guarantee requires that the key is solely yours.
